One of the greatest information we learnt in the wake of the 2018 Africa Energy Forum is that the group gathered to sign a joint development agreement that can progress the 400 MW gas-fired energy project situated in Inhambane Province.

The Temane gas-fired energy plant in Mozambique will provide low cost and dependable energy via a 25-year agreement using natural gas provided by the Pande-Temane grounds operated by the state-owned hydrocarbon firm.

This project in Temane will provide Mozambique with important base load energy and aims at helping to drive economic growth.

With the signing of this arrangement, the consortium in charge of the project will have the ability to deliver very competitive prices. They will also rely on their bankable partnership with all the Globeleq consortium. Their expertise and devotion in the energy area will help to achieve the target in providing universal accessibility through affordable power to those of Mozambique by 2030.
